About this register

MBBS in China Register lists the medical schools named in the Ministry of Education's list for the English-taught undergraduate clinical medicine programme, and links each entry to the notice it came from.

Not an official site

This site is not run by, and is not affiliated with, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, any medical council or regulator, any embassy or any university. It does not accept, forward or process applications. Applications go to each university through the channels that university publishes.

How entries are made

  • A school appears only if the Ministry of Education's published list names it. The edition used is the list for 2023–2024, issued on 15 May 2023, which is the latest edition this site could verify. It names 44 universities with 3,048 places.
  • List number and enrolment plan are copied from the notice. Chinese name, institution code, administering body and location come from the Ministry of Education's national list of higher education institutions as of 17 June 2026.
  • A school's website is linked only after its home page was opened and found to carry the school's name. Where that could not be done, the page shows no website link.
  • Entries were checked on 11 October 2026. Guides show their own date.
  • The register does not rank schools, does not rank or recommend agents, and does not publish admission rates or examination pass rates.
  • Guides on practising in another country summarise what that country's regulator has published. They are not legal advice, and no page here promises a licence, a registration or an examination result.

When the list changes

The list is issued for one academic year, and schools and places can change between editions. If anything here differs from the current official notice or from a regulator's current rules, the official text is right.

Who runs it

The site is operated by UNILINK EDUCATION PTY. LTD, an education consultancy with operating entities in Australia, China and the United Kingdom. UNILINK advises students on study applications, including study in China. Using the register is free, and no entry is placed or ordered on a commercial basis: the schools are listed as the notice names them.

Privacy

The site has no accounts and does not ask for personal details. The school filter runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve and protect the site. Links to official notices, regulators and universities open on those organisations' own sites, which have their own privacy policies.
